For the fifth consecutive year, the Rosa Ponselle Annual "Winners Showcase" Concert will be presented at Goucher College's Kraushaar Theater on Saturday, March 22 at 8:00 P.M. Tickets are free to the public.
Guest artists include renowned Metropolitan Opera, mezzo soprano, Blanche Thebom, who will emcee the Concert; internationally-renowned bass baritone, William Warfield; Laureates of the Rosa Ponselle International Competition for the Vocal Arts, Michael Galanter, Margarita Gomez and Karen Slack; and winners of the 4th Annual Rosa Ponselle "ALL MARYLANDERS'" Competition. A protégé of Mme Blanche Thebom of her Opera Arts Training Program, shall also be presented in her Baltimore debut at the Concert.

The "Showcase" Concert is one of the centerpieces of the 6th Annual Rosa Ponselle "ALL MARYLANDERS'" Competition to be held in March.
Also featured at the Kraushaar Theater on Monday, March l8 at 2:00 P.M., is a lecture with slides and recordings on the Life and Career of Rosa Ponselle by world-renowned, award winning, Verdian scholar and Ponselle biographer, Mary Jane Phillips-Matz. Attendance is free to the public and no tickets are required.
